Haven't posted on this Day-Date thread for a while. Said it before and will day it again. Love the Day-Date. The quintessential Rolex in my opinion.

The day-date is the cat's meow. I achieved the goal of a birthyear model, but I find myself wanting another with a variant dial of some kind... two day-dates are better than one.... variety is the spice of life, etc. Right??? :D
...And, it begins! Sent from my LG-P769 using Tapatalk

If possible, save up and add a DD. Both fantastic pieces that go well in a rotation together! |

Super rare original 1979 18039 5.8m blue Stella diamond dial with silver print in ridiculously mint unpolished condition. Thank you Andrew Shear for the great find! Have wanted this watch for many years but could never find so finally...Cheers,

My first Day-Date. K Series, old style clasp. Bought this last Saturday. Dropped it off yesterday at Hong Kong RSC for a checkup and service.
