Thanks for the update Paul even if I hated reading it because it confirmed a friend of ours is gone. Thank you again Paul for organizing the flowers and everything else you’ve done.

Rest easy Dave and thank you for sharing yourself and your journey with us. I am scheduling a physical tomorrow as it’s been years since I’ve been to a doctor and if this isn’t a nudge from you to do better for myself and my family idk what is.

I’ve had many people very close to me suffer from the consequences of Cancer in the past and present.
It is not prone to any particular class, color, or creed.
It is plain horrible and that’s the bottom line.
God Bless Dave’s family and friends and know he is no longer suffering…RIP Dave!!!

Why wait? The best time is now.

I went last week and have already had poo/urine samples analysis sent off, blood test booked for Monday and CT scan for the Monday after. Plus PSA in the interim and had prostate exam on the day I discussed concerns with my doctor. They were happy with prostate exam but taking no chances.

Some of the guys from the UK have also sent our condolences and flowers to Carole. Dave was on our WhatsApp group as well as TRF and so his Northern English humour and of course great insight, wisdom and watches will be sadly missed. Rest peacefully Dave
