I tend to stay with the classic cases. So not really a fan of the reduced cases.

Totally agree. I barely wear my 3861 now and keep pulling this one out

Speedy Tokyo 2020

It’s a beautiful watch. Love the white dial and red bezel…. I’m considering it, but I’m waiting for two other watches first, so I guess this one will have to join the queue.

To each their own....if you like it buy it...I like new and vintage so I’m kind of a purist/old school type so if it ain’t manual wind....I’m out, and a lot of people seem to agree..on the other hand the automatics are a lot cheaper on the second hand market so you can buy 2 for the price I did my tokyo

What's the best way to source one of these? Boutique?

And what's MSRP?

None of them available at boutiques any more, I’m afraid.

Anyone who owns one of the red Tokyo 2020 Speedies have it authenticated yet? I've been on the fence about purchasing one of these on Chrono from a seller some of the other members of the forum have used to acquire this piece.

The panda Tokyo 2020 is a masterpiece. Thinking of getting an uncle seiko or Forstner President or flat link bracelet for it.

Yeah, they really knocked it out of the park with this one. I’m sure it’ll look great on so many different straps and bracelets

Quoting myself...

I originally bought the blue because my first choice, the white Panda had already climbed to almost $9k. I think they are way above that now so I sold the blue, bought a standard Moonwatch and found a service dial from the 2004 Apollo 11 LE. After a dialmand hand swap I have this FrankenSpeedy (other people's name...I don't care)20220226_132855.jpg

I love that panda dial!
It looks better than Daytona, to me anyway.
