The Omega is a great choice also a Tudor Pelagos, GMT, or Black Bay Pro.

Blue BB58 or Explorer 1 39mm would be my picks

Hey Team - Long overdue update, but I pulled the trigger and went with the OP 116000. Mint with papers from 2017 (so the thicker hands). In love with it.
Thanks to everyone for the feedback and banter.

Great choice!! Looks perfect on your wrist
To me the Exp I is the greatest GADA ever, but if you needed a blue dial, this is the route to take. Congratulations!! Wear it in good health and beat the hell out of that thing!! |

Much appreciated, my friend. Wanted blue, but love the ExpI look. Best of both worlds!

I would do Omega AT, but you'd need to try out the fabric strap before you commit to it.

Black Bay 39 or 41, new version.
Basically the perfect GADA piece, lots of options, reasonably priced. Edit: say OP purchased an OP. I still say the BB is a great choice. Congrats! |

blancpian FF Bathyscaphe for sure but will go for the 43mm.
maybe the ceramic one if u wanna wear it on strap. I think the 43 looks better and i have a smaller wrist than u. |

You are never going to get an unbiased opinion when you line up of a Rolex with other brands for Rolex enthusiasts.

Good choice. The OP "explorer" is surely a GADA watch.

Not true necessarily. Were it still readily available, I'd have voted for the Bathyscaphe Caliber 1153 (no-date, 3-6-9-12 dial, done in collaboration w/Hodinkee). Still on the company's website, and price still gets increased from time to time, but as far as I understand, it's no longer in production.

For a beater/GADA a bracelet is a must imo….no straps.
From your interests, I’d go Rolex 36mm OP with white dial….or blue if your prefer. |

Op, that's a great OP! Congratulations! I bought one just like it in 2016 and it's a keeper for sure.
