Neil,
Anyone would envy the Tudors you USED to own much less the one you still do.

Thanks Dan, I guess we all have watches that we wish we had hung onto. Hindsight is a great thing....

Icon14 Many moods of Tudor Sub

I have five so far and always on the lookout for more.

These three I've had for a while:

9411/0 Snowy:

7021/0 Roulette Date:

7016/0 Lollipop Sweeper:

These last two were the result of a December shopping spree:
79190 Sapphire:

76100 Non-spoke Lollipop Hour:

Those last two shots were both made by the sellers.

No really clean pics, but this was my first "good" watch, and my first father's day present, back in 2002

Thanks Buz. I love 'em.

Many folks seem to think the vintage Tudors should be viewed as Rolex's poor cousin. Personally, I think the old Tudor Subs have qualities of their own which are utterly different from Rolex (despite their use of the Genuine Oyster case) - especially when the unique snowflake and blue dial/bezel designs are considered, and lets not forget their unique history (issued use by both the French and American militaries, etc.). To say nothing of their affordability and rarity vis-a-vis Rolex Subs.

The Tudors should be judged purely on their own merits - which are clearly abundant.

Oh Buz, very nice Tudor Man I'm slipping. I have not bought a watch in almost a year now. Not even a vintage Seiko, I can't wait for better times. I had something going on something special this week but I dragged my feet too long. Now I'm thinking I made a mistake

Buz - that 71960 chrono's a real beauty mate!
Would you mind PM'ing me the start of the serial number?

Jim - the right deal always comes along eventually, it's just a matter of waiting my friend (I know - easier said than done! ).
Still to even take a photo of my newest Tudor........

When this thread started I did not own any Tudors. Now I have one:

Once in a time I also just had one Rolex I still have that one, but it is resting in the safe now - along with some other friends, most likely wondering why that Tudor gets so much attention.

Best,

A

Keeping the thread rolling, I have still got my four Tudor subs and a few others, have not been able to add to them for about a year now though, they seem to have dried up in this neck of the woods, still on the prowl for a good chrono too, it will come
