I do have other brands like tudor and cartier but this is rolex forum right??
I’m also thinking about patek omegas etc.

But get your own place man. 305 born and raised here. Go find yourself a nice pad in Brickell. I’m already in the burbs. You need a place with a view of your boat.

These Rolex purchases aren’t affecting that either!

Very nice collection, especially for a mere 6 months, but personally I'm not sure I would've done it that fast.

As an economist I thoroughly believe in the law of diminishing marginal utility. In other words, as consumption increases then the marginal utility derived from each additional unit declines. Personally I like to buy a watch and enjoy it in its own right for a while before thinking about the next one. With instant gratification it just becomes so much "stuff" to be collected and hoarded, whereas by taking a bit of time I think you appreciate each item in its own right a bit more. But that's just me, and YMMV.

As I say though, very nice collection.

PS - You've got very understanding parents! I'm pretty sure mine would've pulled me up around the second of those Rolex purchases and "suggested" that instead of buying watches I might like to consider chipping in to the food/housing bills once in a while!

Lots of salty people here. Keep doing you, my man.

The collection is starting to look solid, you just need a couple of extra pieces and let go of the ones that you're not in love with.

Though I do wonder whether this quote has ever been adapted to a frustrated conversation with one's AD...

"You can start by wiping that f&^#ing dumb-a** smile off of your rosy f&^#ing cheeks and give me a f&^#ing Professional model in steel. A f&^#ing Sub. A f&^#ing Pepsi. A f&^#ing Explorer. An Oyster f&^#ing case and a flip-lock."

"I really don't care for the way you're speaking to me."

"I really don't care for the way your dealership left me f&^#ing hanging for two years with a f&^#ing place on a f&^#ing waitlist that isn't f&^#ing real. And I really didn't care to keep f&^#ing calling and making f&^#ing visits to have you f&^#ing smile in my f&^#ing face. I want a f&^#ing watch right f&^#ing now."

"May I see your deposit receipt?"

I prefer the M3 over the M5. Im not much of a big sedan guy. I prefer smaller and more nimble. If I was just doing some highway cruising then I would probably go with the M5. But the M3 is a beast on back roads.

Great collection!!! I'm assuming you're young, great to see younger people who can tell time with something other than a smart phone. I was thinking why not a nice dress watch on a strap, then I saw where you live, not the best environment for leather.

Oddly, even though I have a number of Rolex watches, I don’t have a single one in your collection. Different tastes for different individuals
