As the wife of stevetrh I have been recently wearing 2 of my husbands Rolex watches (ss black face daytona, green anniversary sub) with his blessing but I would have to leave home (without a forwarding address) if I ever damaged (even slightly) one of his beloved Rolex's.

No. My wife thinks the mid size models are too big for her. She likes her lady DJ and is happy with it. Plus I have an extra link in my Sub so it wouldn't be easy to size it for her.

My cousin's wife wears his 16710 and I think it looks good on her. She pretty much abandoned her Lady Plat/SS YM for it.

So do you guys resize the watch's bracelet each time so your significant other can wear it or what? My fiance likes to wear my daytona (and it looks better on her than it does on me) but I am worried about removing links and then putting it back to fit me multiple times... I just don't want the screws to get loose.

Yeah...you wouldn't want a screw loose. Seriously.

I think taking metal things apart too often is problematic. One of the reasons I don't want to swap my coke bezel for pepsi / and back n forth.

Perhaps (most of) the guys who lend Rollies to their wives only have to do the micro adjustments???

My wife likes the bracelet a little bigger and I have a smaller wrist so it works. She thinks its jewelery.

The wife has worn all of mine at some point now she just wears this one I bought her. I can't wear it unless I buy 3 more links not.

The Daytona on your wife looks amazing! if I were her, I'd keep it full time. :-)
I love the possiblity of sharing watches. I'm never careful with my rolexes and have had them forever and they dont ever get a scratch! For goodness sakes...its a rolex! It doesnt scratch unless you are trying to purposely get it scratched...like throw it on the sidewalk!

I guess that depends on what you consider a scratch. Both of my watches seem to attract scratches.

I got my gf a ladies size DJ in 2005 that she normally wears. She has worn my GMT II a few times. Once 8 months straight. She has also worn my PAM 112 a couple times. Ultimately she is more comfortable with the ladies size DJ on her wrist. Larger sizes doesn't feel that comfortable to her after a while.

She does beat the snot out of them but I'm really starting to enjoy the "worn in" look and feel. Service time they will come back like new.

No she doesnt. Its only because she has a small wrist. Maybe 5" around, or a little more. Maybe 5.5" tops. My wrist is 7.5-8" around depending on the time of year. It seems to get a little bigger in the hot months if that makes sense. Im at least a 7.5" wrist though. So they would fall off her anyway.

Im glad cause she cant wear my watches. Im greedy when it comes to my watches.

It's kind of a role-reversal on my end...My guy's BIG Welshman (Tall-not wide LOL) and when I'm feeling like I want to wear something "larger", I take one of his.... I particularly like his Rolex Deepsea, and his Panerai (both at 44m) and his Cartier Pasha in rose Gold-42mm. It's a great thing he can't wear my Roleys-at 40mm they look like mid-sized/ladies watches on him! ;o)

I had a Movado Museum that my GF loved to wear sometimes and actually shed a tear when I sold it. My Sub has a bracelet so it will be too large for her wrist

I see it this way, if the watch is new it would be very very hard to let anybody get close to it, but when you have them for a long time then it might be fine to give it to someone else.
BUT what you will do if your "new" wife who want to wear your new watch which "new" of them you will let down??

I know exactly what you mean.. even though she has her own ladies datejust, as soon as I bought my first sea dweller I didnt even get it out of the box before she was wearing it around calling it "her sea dweller". NAd it gets scratched or bumped all the time. My solution was to buy another and let her have the one she "bumped" around
