Everyday...you never know when your number is up. When it's my time, I'm going out in style. Everyday is a special occasion...wear your Rolex like it's your last day on the planet.

I wear a Rolex or Panerai every day unless I'm away on survey and then it's my G-Shock. As Larry said above, I didn't drop all that money on them not to wear them.

Rolex almost everday. Panerai also gets time ince every week or two. I woukd rather have a scratch or two than keep it in a box. Use a beater to garden or wash the car.

Polishing is the devils work. It removes too much metal and destroys the lines. I prefer to tread carefully and avoid it at all costs.

I wear my Rolex all day everyday but tend to go easy on them and keep them in quote food condition.

Daily and in an environment with medical grade steel and everything a 3 yo can throw at it.

You can still wear it daily and look after it. Nearly all scratches are from other people. Thats a fact of life.

Quote from TRF member: "A Rolex without a scratch is not worn by real men".

I say enjoy it. It is too big of a purchase not to be enjoyed.

I have four Rolex watches and four Tudor watches and a bunch of other watches.

I rotate through them, although the Rolex and Tudor watches get the bulk of the wear, but I do go for weeks wearing other watches before I get back them.

I don't have any set schedule. I just wear my watches as the notion strikes.

My DJ41 is three months old and still on first winding.
Better question would be when do I take it off

I like my other watches as well. Hard to take off my newest and best watch though.

My goal is one year without it stopping. Going to be quite easy

Chip Gaines + SS Sub jumping though wall = inspiring

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mm25kmVZnf0

Notice he lands right on the sub. "I'm mostly ok." He wears it in every episode doing real work.

I actually try to avoid scratches and jumping through walls with my rolex, but I wear it and enjoy it everyday, nonetheless.

Every day in nearly all situations. The only time I don’t wear one is while working out or when participating in activities that cannot be discussed on the forum

Similar situation for me. 4 Rolex, 3 Omega, 2 Tudor, and a bunch of others. My Rolex watches see a bit more wrist time than the other brands but I try to spread the love around in rotation. I have noticed that a couple of my recently acquired 5 digits have stolen a fair amount of time from some staples in my rotation though.

I have one Rolex - Polar 216570 - I wear it constantly. Sleep, shower, working the yard - always. I've never done that before but I almost never take it off. I will admit there were some scratches that bummed me out but it's mine now, you know?

FYI - Chip Gaines wears a SD not a Sub. Saw him talk about it in an interview somewhere.

I wore this one every day for 15 years. Never serviced or polished...

Doesn't it disgust you, the state it's in? How I could possibly have worn such a thing I've no idea. Look at the glass for god's sake! Chips round the edges and a huge scratch in the middle...

One day I looked down at it and I was so embarrassed I took it off and threw it into the river. I figured it was worthless anyhow.

Of course I was lost without my Rolex, so I bought another. But, having learned my lesson, I took just one photo of it before squirrelling it away into the safe. Phew! What a relief never having to damage this one!...

So, what do I wear daily? Well... I picked up this one for £2.50 but upgraded the strap to a Brady Sailcloth for only £5.50 extra. AND it's water resistant down to a puddle and because it's quartz it's 0.005 seconds per day more accurate than the DJ41. Well, that's if the DJ41 wasn't in the safe of course (don't like watch winders - too much wear on the movement)...

So, the moral is: Don't enjoy your beautiful Rolex every day, or your Porsche for that matter, for to use them as intended is sacrilege and will surely damage them over time and spoil your enjoyment of sneaking a peek into the safe, or the garage, to ogle them once in a blue moon. Don't forget you only live once!

Most days. Yes, it'd be nice for it to remain spotless, but there's no point in having something like a Rolex and then not wearing it! If I'm doing something that is clearly risky, or going somewhere where I'd have to take my watch off though, I'll wear something else - there are other watches that deserve wrist time!
