I was offered a 175th piece with the brown dial. I bottled it since the price was too trumpy for my blood. Very well done. Was £66,670.

As previously said: superb!

These pieces were certainly pricey. And as I am sure you know, the 3940s were the cheapest offerings of the Limited Edition pieces that were re-released. What I did not like about the RG version is that it was offered in the 5140R with brown dial so it seems a little redundant (Obviously I am biased LOL), but would've passed on the RG version as well.

Thanks to All for such kind words. It really was a special trip. The Salmon Dial went well with Salvador Dali's Melting Clock Sculpture
And I had to take a pic with Big Ben

@Mike There was also a 5153G that I arranged (sadly not a forum member) which is also a nice looking watch. Probably a bit expensive for its simplicity (circa GBP 26000) but was long gone by the time you picked up yours.

5153G is a beauty and very cool with the Breguet numerals. I know of several collectors who owned the 5153G Beijing version from 2014 who were not too happy when this London edition was released because they look very similar with the exception of lacquered numerals vs applied numerals as well as one has the date window framed. I am curious if they will use this exact design for the NYC pieces when the exhibition comes in 2017
Beijing Version (2014)

London Version (2015)
