Is it supposed to be blue? Looks like purple to me.

Out of all the bi-color GMTs, think the Coke GMT makes the most sense. Black for night, Red for day.

I guess you'd have to be bit of a tool yourself to use a white gold watch as a tool watch!

Does Rolex rhodium plate their white gold? The blurple and coral against a fading rhodium finish after a few years wear appeal to anyone?

It's a cool watch / interesting update to a SS classic.

However, I can certainly think of other watches for that price which I would rather have - I.e. Several with more going on in terms of the movement and style vs. Precious metal and a ceramic accent.

However, this watch is for those without these concerns.

Rolex does not plate their WG watches so not gonna happen. Also the tool or use for GMT is second time zone for pilots. How many are actually pilots using for intended use or tool? Is it more dangerous for one to fly with a precious metal watch vs SS? Just asking...

Well, it is heavy but that's what trim tabs are for on a plane.

Went looking for one today and didn't get lucky. :(

Did see the new iPhone's though. I've got big hands and the 6+ is not a one handed device IMO.

That is one amazing piece. I can marvel at how magnificent it is, but that price is a stretch for me. My recently purchased SubC seems like a bargain. I know, I know precious metal puts it at a totally different level. Again, it is beautiful.

It's very beautiful without a doubt--- but not for that much money. I think it should be priced a little lower than a DD2 in WG.

Since the bezel colors of this " pilot's watch " , to me, represents the color of the sky , the Coke GMT bezel would be right at home ....on Mars !

The BLNR best represents earth, with regards to the bezel hour markings
