To answer the question, I’d own a DIFFERENT version of ones that
I own or have owned. The different version would be

1. 124270
2. 126710 BLRO
3. 126610

Hmmm. If I can't have the same watches I currently own, and could only use the proceeds from the watches I sold... I would have to go:

Vintage BLRO to replace BLNR
Fifty Fathoms to replace 114060
Calatrava with the remaining proceeds

Nothing with a 32xx movement

Joking aside,

115609 steel panda dial.
116600 ceramic SD4k
16710 with 3286

Oh man....but I like (some of) my watches now.

Daytona 116500 white dial...really all you need, but I would wear it in the pool, vacation, and a ton elsewhere too.

Patek 5800...the comfortable every day watch

Movado M95 maybe...sort of dressy, but I would also wear it often

I'd go for -

116600 (SD4K) - I had a chance to buy one at RRP from an AD but felt it was "too small" at the time.

116619LB (WG blue dial Sub) - This is my all time favourite PM piece that I also regret never buying at RRP when I had a chance.

214270 (39mm Explorer) - Best ever iteration of the Exp I IMO, and another I missed at RRP - I told my AD I wanted one about a week before it was discontinued - that I still intend to pick up.

I stretched the rules a bit. I don’t consider a solid gold Submariner to be the same watch as a stainless steel one.

At least those are the ones on my radar right now . . . if I had to sell everything.

Selling my collection wouldn't buy these three watches, but I'll answer your question by listing the three-watch collection I would like to have (and none of which I currently do have):

36mm Explorer (not TT)
Vacheron Overseas Dual Time (black dial)
Lange 1 Moonphase Platinum

Vacheron moonphase retrograde in WG

Been there done that, IMO:

Submariner
Speedmaster
Reverso

Never out of style, always relevant.

A five digit sub w/date, and two other watches. Maybe a GShock and a Speedy...
