Looks like a creepy scene from a Tim Burton movie but definitely no Johnny Depp lookalikes there. No Flies on Me!

To JJ: Try to keep body and mind active with as many normal routines in place as possible, I find this keeps energy levels up and offers a degree of distraction. It always a tendency to ponder on the worse, but try to keep the spirits up (both kinds if you're allowed- the alcohol variety in moderation of course!!). The time will come around soon enough for your jab. With so many lucky digits crossed in support of you from the forum members how could it be anything but successful!
Best Wishes

JJ, In the short span of a day since you first posted this thread you have received a huge amount of replies. Some serious, some fun, but all of them caring. You obviously have many friends and family here on TRF, so the bottom line with all the good thoughts and the power of prayer, believe you will be OK. WE are all pulling and praying for ya....

JJ, my friend, I'm hoping and praying that you have a complete and speedy recovery and that your eye sight problem will soon be a thing of the past.

Hello, JJ.

Well, you have seen the shower of good wishes from all your friends here at TRF, I want to add my couple of drops to it.

I know it's really hard to just "not worry about it" because, well, you are worried about it and it's something that you notice all the time.

But you are in good hands, and the doctor did say (from what I seem to remember when you posted about your trip to see him) that it may take up to three treatments to see an improvement.

If the doctor had seen anything worrisome he would have done things differently, but he is giving you a three month treatment and at the end of it you should be much better.

I'll keep you in my thoughts, and my best wishes for your recovery. I hope that you can find something that will keep your mind away from worrying about your eye.

Have a beer this afternoon for all of us!!!

Totally understand. I dislike anything near my eyes. I also hate sharp objects piercing me.

But in the end, it'll most likely be worth it.

Don't worry too much about your right eye anymore. Take care of the left one since it's your last one!

I wish you all the best in the world. Think positive and everything will come out great. You'll see!!!!
