Does the RB2 leather strap and clasp work on a Schumacher?

Leather GP strap not looking as good as I thought.

Leather GP strap not looking as good as I thought.

UGHHH my black leather GP rose gold edition band came in today and it does not necessarily look better than the stock grey rubber strap.

I think if there was some hints of red deviated stitching on the band it would tie it in with red accents on dial but this to me may look worse. I don't like the standard GP strap either as the sides are red which will get dirty in a few months and it makes the watch too sporty where you cannot wear it with a suit or formal wear.

I took a few test fit pics to get everyone's opinion here so please help me with my decision as I dont want to be swapping straps too often and risk scratching the case.

Man am I slacking off on a Friday LOL.

I don't like the GP strap on it. I would either stick with the grey rubber or put a black rubber strap on it.

How about this strap? It's a matte black with a very soft leather touch. I love it with my 44FC.

Black strap will make the sub dials pop a bit more...

Call me crazy but I am thinking about having my leather guy restitch the outside with red stitching and it will look stunning on the GP black leather strap with Alcantara.

Get it off the rubber, these watches are too classy and if the 42mm ROOs are best on hornback so should these be or leather at least.
