Just reading here about concerns over the trainers becoming damaged. Have a look at Dundee Sole on Instagram. It’s a shop in Dundee where they do trainer repairs and clean ups. Some of the end results are unbelievable.

Hahaha yah kinda cheating. I worked at skate/snowboard shop and we were one of the first shops up North to get SB’s (early 2000’s) Everyone hated them at first because Nike was “the devil” corporation and they should stay out of skateboarding. They didn’t realize we used Converse and Nike as skate shoes before there were skate shoes. I was in charge of ordering and just added an extra 10.5 or 11 of every pair we got in. Which was great at first because they only released a couple models per year. That changed to a couple per month which below is the result…. I didn’t want to sell them because I didn’t want to profit off the owner since he was a friend and was giving them to me at cost.

The Jordan’s I take full responsibility for ;)

Adidas Stan Smiths. Always have at least one pair, usually two (one beater, one cleaner). Prefer the white/white color.

I find Adidas has a wider toe box than Nike, I could never find a pair of Nike's that were comfortable for me.

Another New Balance wearer.
Some of the most comfortable and durable sneakers I ever had.

I always have at least 2 pairs

New Balance for me, but lately I've been wearing Skechers canvas tops; they're supremely comfortable.

I saw this brand for the 1st time yesterday being worn by a Trainer at the health club. I’m now intrigued by the brand. The sole of their running shoes look comparable to Adidas Ultraboost.

Was surprised to learn they were developed in 2015 by Reebok veterans.

Have a brand new ( 2 yrs old worn twice) second pair. Love Smith’s but it seems like my older pair were close to real leather.

I wear the original trainers but now mostly the mesh runner. I have been wearing their stuff for years. It’s a cross fit brand and most of the people I train with wear them.

Me too.
I tried several different expensive brands, none of them seemed to make a difference.

Finally saw these, tried them on.
The gel soles and wide fit make these the most comfortable pair of shoes I have. Then I noticed every other big guy I know wearing Skechers too.

How bout the all white minimalist type sneakers. Any recommendations on those? Insta keeps telling me to buy Oliver Cabell.

I know this is not in the family of shoes you guys have referenced, but I exclusively wear Saucony, both everyday and running shoes. I find them extremely comfortable and supportive.

Mostly AJ1s for me. Typically use Nike flyknits for the gym/running/boxing/fencing etc. Few snaps:
