The Squale GMT (40mm) I just got is very comfortable as I have it currently adjusted. It has a jubilee style bracelet which wraps the wrist better than an oyster, it's also lighter. The Squale also has a slightly shorter lug to lug with down turned angles that hug my wrist. That feature may vary in comfort for others though!

However, I say "as currently adjusted" because with no glidelock, it takes tools to adjust and cannot be adjusted on the fly like my SubC. I highly appreciate the glidelock! All in, the SubC and Squale are about even after a pros/cons.

The 5711 is very comfortable. It is light and the bracelet is so smooth.

Dear friends, thanks very much! To finalize all suggestion, I realize, that the most comfortable and daily watch is on the Jubilee bracelet (President and Oyster on the second and third places), because Rubber is too sporty and leather is not for swimming).
What is better and more convenient? GMT on Jubilee or DJ 36 or 41 on Jubilee?

From my collection in order of comfort:

1. SARB033 on a Perlon strap - don't even know its there.
2. G-Shock GW-M5610-1BER - same as above.
3. 214270 - most comfortable Rolex I currently own so that's why its a keeper.

Most comfortable Rolex I've ever owned past & present has to be my (sadly) departed 14060. I guess you'll never know how much you miss something until it's gone.....

My omega seamaster 2254.50 is the most comftorble watch ive ever owned. Which annoys me, because I bought a Sub and I wanted that to be more comftorble.🙁

Agree. The leather strap on my new Radiomir 753 is the most comfortable I've ever had.

My DD36 18038 is THE most comfortable watch I've ever owned.

Many things go into watch comfort. Half of those things aren't even ON the watch....

Weight
Balance
Bracelet
Caseback
Crown

Wrist shape
Wrist size
Wrist location
Wrist Taper

Light weight means the watch will disappear on the wrist. If you like larger watches but they feel bad on you, try some in Titanium to reduce the weight.

Balance is also key, A heavy watch head can be balanced by a heavy watch clasp. Think of it like a performance car, the more weight in one direction, the less capable the vehicle is, try to find a balance. My Omega Ploprof is a heavy head, but the clasp balances it out and it feels less top heavy. Therefore it wears well.

Bracelet. We all know bracelets can be comfortable or painful. The President is so nice because the links are close together and the smooth flat back creats a Very even bearing on the wrist. Better than the Oyster, better than the Jubilee. It's awesome. But my experience with Jubilee and Beads of Rice bracelets put them in the Comfort category just behind the President.

Caseback. Many people don't pay attention to this. A flat caseback brings the entire watch close to the wrist, preventing Tilt. Tilt leads to the watch moving alot on the wrist. But also brings the Crown and any protrusions closer to the body, where you can begin to feel the crown digging into the wrist.

Crown. Left handed people have it made. Sure it's harder to manipulate the crown when it's up the arm side, but man you NEVER have crown bite. What makes my Ploprof wearable is that the hand-side of the wrist is perfectly sculpted that the watch never bites. Yeah I have to remove the watch to manipulate the crown, but I do that anyway in the morning when I set the time.

Wrist Shape - Flat or Round profile? The shape of your wrist will determine the comfortable Lug-to-Lug for you personally.

Wrist Size - Goes hand in hand with shape. BUT I'd say the shape is more critical for choosing comfort, than just the size measurement.

Wrist location - Some people prefer above the bone or below the bone locations for their watches. These will play into what is comfortable.

Wrist taper - My wrist tapers quickly from the bone to the forearm where If I wear a watch above my Wrist bone and it's not SUPER snug, it will fall down towards the bone and then end up under the bone next to the hand. Because I cannot stand a strangle-hold, it's lead me to wear the watches a little loose and let them wander up and down the wrist. This also means that some watches become REALLY uncomfortable quickly, and others do not.

Lots go into comfort. The only way to know is to really test them out.

But, I'm going to say, IF I were forced to choose one watch to wear forever....

Top 3 for me

1. Nomos Tangente 38mm on strap
2. Breitling Areospace titanium on bracelet with the spring loaded clasp
3. Tie - Rolex Explorer 214270 / Omega Seamaster Professional on bracelet

I wish I owned a greater variety to help answer the question better.

As for what I've owned (DJ35, DJ2, GMT C oyster, 4 digit Sub, 5 digit sub, 5 digit Seadweller, 6 digit Sub, blnr, Dblue, Sd43, blro, I maybe forgetting a couple...

The jubilee bracelet is by far the most comfortable I have worn. I dont think it's entirely due to the bracelet alone though ... the weight, the case profile, and case back shape, all play into it. YMMV Attachment 1137854Attachment 1137855Attachment 1137856

You are differently in the majority here and once again I am a very very small minority but nonetheless my 126710BLRO feels less comfortable than I expected.

I feel the jubilee bracelet have super sharp edges, like razor sharp. I find way cheaper watches like my Seiko Actura Kinetic Chronograph much more comfortable.

I would like my daily 20.000 dollars (yes, I really paid that) Pepsi to be perfect and in many ways it is a super cool and handsome watch, but on my wrist not as comfortable as my 1000 dollars Seiko.

My 116520 is the most comfortable watch I have ever worn. I really like the shorter clasp on it as well. It really wears like a dream.

Interesting ... the jubilee bracelet on the blro is not sharp whatsoever IMHO, but if it feels that way to you thats very unfortunate.

Hope you find your watch nirvana

16570 EXII on a silky vintage oval link jubilee...

There simply is no more comfortable bracelet and the design of the watch makes it completely unobtrusive.

I find my SD43 very comfortable wearing it 24/7,but think my Gshocks on resin bands are the most comfortable i have worn, also helped by being so much lighter than the Rolex.

18238 on president bracelet is the most comfortable/best wearing watch I have owned. I wear a sub daily that is fine, but not as easy wearing as the president. Full disclosure I have a smaller than average wrist.

I haven't tried on enough watches to really comment, but I will say that my Submariner 114060 is more comfortable than my 1863 Speedmaster on a leather strap. The Submariner fits better. I can't get a precise fit with the Speedmaster on a leather strap.

My watches form a small sample space, but I am always amazed at how comfortable my Explorer is when I put it on. Not to say it's better than a jubilee bracelet...never owned one of those.

Out of my two watches it would be the 126710BLRO. There’s a lightness to it that just makes it so so comfortable. I’ve had the 116710BLNR as well but still the 126710BLRO wins by far. I suspect a DJ36 on jubilee would be even more comfortable.

I am so glad you find that particular watch so comfy because I genuinely want it to be. I really like the color, look, size and stance of the watch it self, and I hope the feeling of wearing it will grow on me. Make me positive this will happen when I hear others find it to be the most comfortable watch they own. Thank you for sharing.
