Picking one up later!

Happy with the deal and excited to get it on my wrist.

Unique watch which will always hold value and more importantly, bring pleasure to the owner.

Huge congrats, you’ll love it. Hope it wasn’t from Watchfinder though looking at those prices above!

No I don't deal with Watchfinder in general.

It's a good price and I am very happy

he was right to call you out - this is an utterly stupid thing to do bumping this topic, its essentially just free advertising for the already out of control grey sellers, and a clearly inflammatory topic

cant wait to see the crash - its coming

If Rolex prices crash that means bad news for everyone. Global recessions incoming, property and stock markets will tumble, and the poor will only get poorer.

If he was right to be called out for resurrecting an old post, then you are utterly moronic to be hoping for a Rolex crash.

Yours is 347 in over 12 years, so your post count per year is less than 29 posts per year.

Blargle is doing better than you.

Bit of an own goal.

But it’s not a numbers game.

It was supposed to be light hearted and a reflection on how the price of these watches continues to defy the expectations of even seasoned observers.

Seems to have upset a few people which was not my intention so I will leave it be.

This forum, like many other areas, goes through its phases, and the new trend is to talk about gray dealers, how many models a specific gray dealer has, talk about prices, increases, etc, and no one here knows who anyone else is, in real life, like any other online forum or group, so who knows who has these accounts, and posts from them, but, I find it quite interesting seeing all of those posts. Sometimes, as I often tell a jury when I am trying a case, you just need to apply common sense and there is the answer...just like looking at all of those posts, they are meant to drive up values, advertise for certain people, and for some, it is self serving as they think that the more those posts influence people, and sadly, just like instagram and the like, they do, and it increases the value of their so-called "collection" or "investment" watch.

if you can justify the outlay I doubt you'll regret it. It's a superb watch, and as things stand, unique. Technically, I suppose it always will be. Well out of my price range now.

That's your opinion. Here's another one. Reviving threads such as this serve to illustrate not olny how wrong these predictions tend to be, but how current topics posted in this vein are hackneyed to say the least.

If you are referring to some kind of spontaneous Rolex price realignment I'm all for it. If you are hoping for a Rolex price reduction off the back of a global economic crash, that's just evil. I hope it's not the latter.

Why are they unique? They are all over like a damn rash. Local grey to me has three in stock.

It's a unique model, as is the 16610LV. And it always will be. There won't be another 40mm maxi case green bezel, green sunburst dial sub date with non AR sapphire (apart from the cyclops), fat lugs and the 31 series movement. Unique.

If the Hulk itself was singularly unique, only one person on the planet would it and most of the world's population wouldn't be able to afford it. Duh!

Let’s revisit this thread again in another 10 months. Or does your crystal ball predict it happening sooner?

Some people seem confused. Hulk is NOT Kermit or Cermint or whatever cutesy name is being used. The chances of getting a new Hulk from an AD is zero point zero. They are as extinct as $20 gold pieces pre-1933.

Love how in that light it almost looks like a Cermit as the dial nearly turns black.

Happy to oblige given how impressed I am with the watch now it's cleaned up and on my wrist.

Although I have a good (productive) relationship with my AD, they never managed to get me one of these and time ran out so I have had to go to the grey market but fortunately I found a bricks and mortar place that had not kept up with the latest pricing

As my last pic looked a bit like a Starbucks/Cermit I have tried to get the light working more actively on the dial here.

I think I have caught the laser etched crown on the last pic, hazy shadow at 6
