Correct. I never said the GMT II was supposed to be set to local time. I said the Explorer II was supposed to use the GMT hand as local time. I think we are on the same page, just different paragraphs lol. |

When home it is set to GMT. When I am in another time zone for an extended period, I set the GMT hand to my home time and the hour hand to the local time.

You are basically just saying what I've been saying. I never discussed traveling. I will be traveling with my Explorer II soon and will obviously set the local time with the 12 hr hand while leaving the 24 hr hand to home time. I have been saying that while I am at home I set the 12 hr hand to the correct time and the same with the 24 hr hand, as the 24 hr hand is meant to display the home time as military time. We are going around in circles here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Zulu Time. That's the military name for UTC, for those that don't follow that kind of stuff. :)
When I travel, I set the regular hand to local time and use the bezel offset and GMT hand for my home time.

Local time as well. I find it easier to hack the hour hand to whichever time I'm travelling to

I think half (or more) of the people that are answering local time are confused as to what they're referring to, and really mean home time. |

I think I was using the terms local and home interchangeably, so I may have been a bit confusing. My fault brother. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

When I do business with someone outside the USA, I set my bezel to their local time, so I know when to call or email and expect someone to answer, otherwise just on my local 24 hour time.
