I really like the GMT, but I think the Daytona is safer bet for holding value. But then again who knows the future. I own a GMT, hopefully a Daytona one day.

Daytona for sure, but are you willing to pay $20K + today to get either one? I wouldn't.

Can’t go wrong with either. I would pay less mind to future value and try to get what you really like!

Of the two. I would pick Daytona. Seems like an iconic watch which draws a lot of attention and in long run will be worth more, IMO. Not that that's a factor if u leave it to your son.

I prefer the GMT. Daytona has too much going on. But as someone previously said, you should get whatever you like the best.

Get the one you will enjoy wearing the most. I love the GMT but not a big fan of the jubilee bracelet on the sport watches.

Without question the Daytona. I think the Pepsis look a little gimmicky.

I really like the white dial Daytona but I just can’t get over how hard it is to read the time compared to say the GMT. I think I’d go with the SS GMT.

This. Its not like there is a choice. If any one of them became available to you grab it fast. The white face Daytona is the rarest watch on the planet IMHO. Never turn one down if you do not have.

♛- Yet to be determined, but a white 16520 is on the short list. (I believe that I'll be able to read it better than my old 116520)

My own thought is that if you are on the fence about either, pass. Wait till you find something you absolutely have to have and has a decent resale value when or if you want something else.

I’d go Daytona. Love the Pepsi but Daytona is in a category of its own.
