Preach!!!!!!!

Looks great Bas. Always liked the current Tudor cases much better. Not just for the better lug proportions but also the bevel that the put on the case.

So you are much more interested in a watch if it has been processed in an artificial way rather than in it's natural state? I wonder why, given that if you buy an unpolished what you can assess the condition and you can decide who you ask to polish it and how aggressive you want the polishing to be. Would that not be preferable, rather than have someone else decide?

Whether a modern watch is polished or not should not be too much of an issue, if the buyer wants to polish the watch, then the seller can always discount accordingly. The problems with polishing start when we are talking about older watches where an original condition reflecting the passage of time may be more desirable than a polish, especially a harsh polish removing too much material and softening the lines too much.

Good work by the OP, it looks sensibly and sensitively done.

Sorry, and without any polemics obviously, but... we talked about this, didn’t we? :)
Cases are done by CN machines from the SS blocks directly, the final finishing of every case is done by hand ;)

We talked about this? No we didn't.

A massive company like this doesn't have a fully manual finishing lineup, sure some steps must be done by hand but mostly machine work these days.

I have seen videos from the Rolex factory showing cases being buffed by computerized robots.

The same painted brass that the 5 series SS were made from plus all the other reference SS and most all TT models.
