GMT by far. Polished center links for elegance, rugged case for sportiness. 2nd time zone complication, and a beautiful ceramic bezel.

My personal choice is the Daytona, but even I think the GMT is the true one and done watch as it has it all.

For me it was the Sub-date.

Then I bought an Explorer II the following week.

Easy choice. The Rolex you'll put on your wrist and pretty much never take off for many years. Eventually send in to RSC for service, and then wear it for years.........

Any one of my datejust can be my one and only watch. It's the most versatile piece in my collection.

GMT or Sub. For me if I had to keep just one in my collection it would be the oyster BLNR (over the ceramic white dial daytona)

Probably Day-Date. Never get upset when you find out it's Tuesday when you thought it was at least Wednesday again. In all seriousness the 16710 is mine. Everything else can go and I need never own another. That's how you find your one watch.

Best one Rolex to own ?

JC DSSD... you get the best diver in the Rolex line up with also the best dial. Not to mention it’s a beast and can handle whatever you throw at it. I also love the slightly domed crystal and no cyclops.

Datejust for a one and only watch. Submariner as the only Rolex in a collection.

Don’t think I can get to one, but if forced to get to two Rolex, these would be the last two in the watch roll.

Simple question needs simple answer:

If you need a date function > SD4K 166600

If you don't need a date function > Explorer 214270

My answer is always the same to this, it’s the 116500.

I sold mine after I bought a 116519, but that’s because as part of a collection, the 519 offered more. But as an only watch, the 500 would be perfect.

Paul, But your watch listed is the Yacht Master? Seems to be a conflict there.
