to the best post in the thread. Anyone dedicating their service to the world should have and do anything that they enjoy. Hope you get to wear that Patek Tourbillion!

I also manulipate safes and vaults open. I also weld safes when the job calls for it. My military work involves all of the bases in San Diego, California. I also travel for the military when needed.

I wear a DateJust for my daily watch, or my Seiko if I know it is going to be a hazzard type job and I do not want to damage my Rolex.

That's awesome. You're a legal safecracker!

Starting centerfielder for the San Francisco Giants. Since I'm too old and stink at baseball, lead play-by-play radio broadcaster for the Giants!

OR

Professional photographer, travelling the world on different assignments (this one is actually conceivable). I'd choose from any of the 15 or 20 Rolex's I'd be able to afford as a result!

I have thought about this question long and hard and honestly, I don't know the answer. But if I had to choose, I would probably want to become a Wall Street big shot and have a Patek 5070.

Pro pool player (NOT A ROAD PLAYER) and Valentine's got my grail...V, you have the green dial? I must say I'm pretty happy with my DD though. It's not a 118238, no updated clasp, no polished lugs, but I'm happy everytime I look at it....and that's what really matters!

I would be happy as a professional golfer. I would want two watches. A yellow gold President, and a Sea Dweller. I stopped playing with a watch on, but when I did wear one I used the bezel to track my shots.

Thank you Kevin I'd be happy with the plat DDII though...

Durban and Woza Moya are just a matter of time, we are moving forward step by step... Should have a new Tata school bus for them by spring.

I would try to quote here, but the system keeps timing out on my land line connection. However, any one of you can be Tiger Woods, the golfer (or whatever), if you want to be. I'd just like to be his Yacht Master! As for the watch, heck, my ol' 16710 Coke Bez will do - there are more than a few time keeping devices and other instruments on the 'boat' that are close enough for global navigagtion!!! Bahamas, huh? EEEEEhaaaaah!

How'd I miss this thread?

OK, well I'd be a Professor of Classics at Oxford, Stanford, Caltech, or USC. I guess I'd wear a Caltrava or YG DD. Of course I'd be independently wealthy!

Perfect job for me would be running my own Family Charitable Donation funded with $100,000,000 in seed money from industry and maybe Megamillions winnings. My wife, four adult children and I would screen applicants starting with people who lost jobs during the recession. We'd create "enterprise zonees" with local businesses and they would hire and train workers from modest income unemployed households, train them, and we would pay the salaries for the first six months until the employee could be self sutaining for the employer. Then I would move to working with City Redevelopment Agencies to condemn blighted properties and build homeless shelter, abused woman and children shelters, and medical clinics in Western States that I could get to and home again in a day of flight and meetings. Next up would be filling the food banks, particularly around the Holidays, but all year long, on the basis that people who are able to work would work in the kitchens handing out food to others in need in return for their own food. I've thought about this a lot, and it would be PERFECT. Of course, I'd pay my wife and 4 kids about 10% per annum based on a 50 hour work week for them, so they could build wealth, own their own homes, and create their own retirements without needing an inheritance.

What watch? Jaeger LeCoultre Master Calendar for dress, and an AP offshore or Pam 187 for daily wear watch.

Love the question, love the thread. Might just have to go figure out how to do this......................
