I'm gonna stick it out. I will admit it appears the "moderators" have no problem asking you to conform to there wishes. So much for free speech

Its as if the didnt even read the thread they just pinned me down and put the finger to me.

BTW I really do wish soem of these "compulsive posters" would control themselves. I know I am new around here but I have already been bit a couple of times by these guys.

If your definition of free speech is "it's my right to say what I bloody well please", then you've got a lot of growing up to do.

Oh, I read the thread all right, and your calling people "assholes" forms the centrepiece of this thread. Someone steals your candy bar and you shoot him, and then you whinge about the cops not paying attention to the stolen candy bar? Get a grip.

Yeah, you're new around here but already you presume to push other members around and tell them what to do. A lot of them could have told you where to stick it, but they made light of it instead. You need to ask yourself who's the one lacking control here.

That said, Atomic has made a good point. This thread was hijacked right at the start, and that's unacceptable. I'll remind everyone here that we've been through this before - if you do want to take things off-topic, at least wait till the substance of the original post has already been addressed. Yes, hijacking is part of the nature and humour of this forum, but let's not let it run rampant. Also, I'd like the members to be mindful of who they're talking to - not everybody has the same sense of humour and let's try to respect these differences.

Brian's a good guy and I hope he doesn't leave, but i could see why he'd get miffed when his thread was hijacked on the first response, particularly after qualifying that family comes first. I'll be seriously disappointed if this has been enough to make him not return.
Considering who the initial remark was directed to I expected this from you You get a bone for the guy because he pulled your hair thr wrong way once and you jump on the bandwagon of anyone who takes a shot at him.

You have seriously disappointed me recently.

This is the phoniest forum on the internet. These moderators are like the GASTAPO. I have already received several PMs with these moderators trying to intimidate me.

Why? Because there is some obsessive compulsive dude with 25000 posts hijacking every thread and I called him on it....why are you guys so interested in covering for his odd behavior? This question does truley deserve merit.

90% of his responses are BS. Just a complete waste and absolutely nothing to do with the subject at hand.

Go ahead ban me....with moderators like YOU running this place you can have it.

NOW I FEEL BETTER!

BTW if you decide to ban me I will point out your Stalinistic behavior.

Somebody please quote this or at least copy and paste it.

Puh-leeze... Fact is this prolific post broke the rules AGAIN and despite heavy mod input in this thread and three pages in that I had the balls to point out who the culpable one is, a fact confirmed by gedanken above.

If the truth disappoints you Paul, then I wonder how you deal with something as simple as your commute to work.

Brian makes some very sage observations for a "newbie"... So its not just me.

You think that your opinion is all that matters and everyone wants to hear about it. Not everyone wants to hear your useless all of the time so people choose not to respond to it. You should try the same sometime.

I knew you'd take the bait. Once I saw your buddy was on I knew it'd be only a matter of minutes before you replied. Must be you were granted computer privileges at home tonight. Either that or P is asleep.

The obsession-compulsion is yours. The grown-ups here ignore things if they don't like it, but you're carrying on about it like a two-bob watch. On top of that, you're not only going after JJ, but you're indiscriminately lashing out at anybody who doesn't take up pom-poms for your cause. Now THAT's odd behaviour.

If you want to take things as threats or facism, it's your choice and not my problem if you come off as paranoid. I'm just telling it the way it is.

Like I said, if you don't like it, there's absolutely nothing keeping you here. If you do eventually get banned, it will be for your language and abusive attitude on this forum, and you seem to be happily providing the justification for that. In similar circumstances, the grown-ups at this point would stop throwing their toys out of the pram and start thinking about what they're doing.

Don't go overboard. I acknowledged that the hijacking started too early, but that doesn't mean that JJ is culpable. He's not the one lashing out at other members and using profanities. Refer to my cop-and-candy-bar analogy.

As for balls, the fact that you once again come riding in on another member's issue to push your own agenda (as you have done in the past) pretty much puts paid to that claim.
