You need to read the model descriptions more closely not just the cover pictures.I'm not trying to be argumentative just trying to clarify your question,I couldn't answer your question as it was phrased incorrectly referencing a non existent model. http://www.rolex.com/en#/rolex-watch...l-m14060m-0004 http://www.rolex.com/en#/rolex-watch...m116610ln-0001 If you click on the links above I'm sure you will get it correct in the Future. As you can see the pic you posted clearly states it is a SUBMARINER DATE.If you don't care what is called ,why ask the question in the first place? |

My 1st post and my 1st Rolex!
My first Rolex is being delivered this Wednesday. I finally took the plunge and got my absolute favorite watch.......The Submariner 14060N! I can't wait to try this baby on.
I went with the no date because it has a truly classic, simple look. I am also a huge fan of the king of cool and after seeing him with it on my fate was sealed...... This is the watch my dad always wanted but couldn't afford, so this one is for you dad! |

Is the 14060M noisy because of the non-sel?

This way it won't be so lonely.

I wear mine snug but not tight. I can swing my arm like mad and dont hear a thing. If you wear it like some I've seen(alot of play underneath) I imagine it would make noticeable sound.

having a date complication was not essential for me when chosing but the 116610 just felt a much improved watch to me when compared to the older models.
new bracelet, clasp maxi dial and i kind of like the maxi case as well.

imho, after some tinkering, much of the noise actually stems from the older style clasp as well as the SEL.
(93150 vs 93250)

i didn't look at the 14060M for long enough to find it rattling. Is it very rattly?
Does anyone have a photo of the 116610LN on a nato strap or similar? |

The 14060M with the 91350 doesn't make much noise if it is properly sized on your wrist. Being hyper attentive to every motion of your wrist, I am sure you would hear some rattle if you began to listen for it, but it's simply the design of non sel. That bracelet is tried and true for over 40 years! +1 for 14060M!

I prefer the classic 16610 ok 14060 over the maxi. Just my opinion.

Get the 116610! The ceramic bezel, blue lume, glidelock clasp, heavier and better built bracelet (I know I know, it's debatable), and of course, the DATE! |
