No, Rolex doesn't make their promotional items themselves... they commission various companies to make them for Rolex; for instance RolDeco that makes the display stands for AD window displays.

Certain leather goods seem to have been made by Louis Vuitton for Rolex... but obviously not branded LV, but Rolex. The LV style is definately present on those leather goods.

Then we have the green crystal paperweight, made by the Italian glassworks Salviati for Rolex...

Or an Italian silversmith from Padova making the silver stuff:

Interesting note about the * 76 PD " mark next to the silver hallmark "925" on the silver loupes:

The " * 76 PD " is an Italian makers mark. In Italy, such marks are mandatory next to the "925" Sterling silver hallmark.

If you look up "PD" on the following site:

You get the following info:

According to the list on the site, the two Sterling silver loupes were made in PaDova by:

76: FABBRICA POSATERIA E ARGENTERIA F.LLI CALEGARO DI LUIGI - Conduttore F. CALEGARO
