Iceman,
What a beautiful collection. Very nice watches you have there. Love them all. Especially the 5164 looks lovely. |

I want to thank this forum members for all the help, direction and opinions that assisted me in making decision to acquire Aquanaut. You know who you are, in order of appearance - Anders, Mike, Joe, vpr80, Dan, Neil, Gus, h999r, Kyle, Brian, Watcheroo, bardm, enjoythemusic, vc_watches, tom2517.
Thank you everybody, this forum is such a great group of people. I'm so glad I found it. |

Congratulations Jan :)
The first photo when I 1st viewed it, I thought that it was the R/G model, funny have different light can change the appearance of an object. I guess that you worked out an compromise with your wife over the Patek and the basement? LOL Usually, it is fatal and to us experienced hunters, once someone states that it maybe a few weeks or months before they get a piece, that it will be the opposite and work out to be only a matter of days!!!! LOL

I went to my AD today and he had the 5711. This is my first time handling this piece and it is awesome just like the pics. I definitely like this piece more than the aquanaut. Here is a pic for you. For me, it is a question of when I'm going to get rather than if I'm going to get it.

I'm very happy how it all worked out. I acquired Exp I prior to this one and after wearing the 36mm watch for a week I felt like I could wear the 5165 with no issue. When it arrived and I sized it I knew it was a good decision. |
