well, I'm just confused then... want it, like owning it, but not wearing it... wearing these is what it's all about! Whatever floats your boat

I guess I can't really understand the purpose of owing such an essential watch and not get any joy out of wearing it but to each his own. I would sell it if I were you but I'm not so do your thing mate!!! I wear my sub everyday and it's my favorite watch I own!!!

No sense in keeping watches that don't make you happy.

Or maybe watches just don't matter to you anymore. That's possible.
My thoughts exactly

OK so a final thoughts on this. Been to the AD and took onboard the many comments from you guys. I now realise, I have Submariner Syndrome. This is where you buy every watch that looks like a submariner until the sub just blends into the collection. After looking at all my watches they are all essentially black faced dive watches apart from the Seconda and the Seamaster.

So seriously I now realise the problem is lack of diversity although in my defence I like black faced dive watches. I have decided to keep the Sub, Seamaster and Seconda, the rest are going.

The AD has suggested a chrono to mix it up a bit, perhaps Daytona. Tried one of those before and found it a bit to shiny with PCL, I think a Speedy Pro may be an option, but not just yet.

I would like to thank you guys as you may not realise but your comments have made me see where I want to go. So you know I have decided on PP, paid the deposit now waiting for delivery. And I cant wait so thanks again

Not wearing a Sub suggests issues with your Karma. Your horological aura may be out of sync. But i just took a very powerful pain pill, so what do I know?

Wearing PP instead of a Sub? See a Urologist.

Icon6 By choice....

I do not own a SubC by choice. I'm very satisfied with my SubLV 16610 and my DSSD. Besides, everyone has a Sub, SubC or Sub ND. So when the 50th anniversary Sub came out and with a green bezel insert, it got my attention and I bought one. I had the same feeling about DSSD when I first saw it advertised in 2008 as a new model. So I bought one a couple of years after its initial release.

I wouldn't wear a SubC every day since almost every one else around here (Sydney CBD) wears one. Not interested in wearing the same watch as everyone else.

I think I understand. I think you adore and praise your SubC way too much. You feel comfortable wearing look-a-like subs that you can beat and not care about. In a sense just buy another SubC so you can daily/Beat one and not wear the other.

I bought a sub C about a month ago (musically is a SubC a Bflat?). I've chosen not to wear it because it is a joint Father's Day/Birthday gift in less than two weeks. I suspect it will get good wrist time then.

Always did like the blue, one of a handfull of gold watches I would consider. The new one seems brighter or more blue, not sure if they changed it. Much nicer than the Seamaster IMO but its a higher level piece with a price to reflect that.

Thanks for sharing but you are not helping me get over my desire for Submariner style watches.

Day four now wearing the Sub and its a grower, the sun on the ceramic is just gorge. Uuuuurrggg Cerachrom
