Congratulations Ken.
A true grail and a watch I hope to own one day.
May I ask why you choose the r over a p?
Both are perfect but I am interested in your thoughts.

Thanks! Why the R? Because I prefer the silver dial and rose gold combo for such a detailed dial vs. black dial. The RG also so warm and rich where as the white metal combo for this watch much colder and sportier. For me this was the perfect combo without a doubt!

Ken, please let me add my congratulations.

The 5970R is truly a grail watch and one that I would love to wear.

Out of all the 5970 precious metals it is the R/G that I would choose. The combination of the metal & dial are just so perfect.

Congratulations once again.

Ken, perhaps we could have one photo showing your amazing.

Enjoy your weekend………….I am sure that you will :)

Congratulations Ken. Absolutely stunning. I also believe it doesn't get any better than that. I love to read posts such as this where you can feel the joy and emotion of the person for their new piece. It's super

you made the right choice !!

This is also one of my favorite watches.

If you would ask me to make a top 3 of the most beautiful Patek watches ever made the 5970 would be on this list.
The other 2 would be the 5070 and the 5131

Congrats Ken. That is absolutely textbook Patek to me and exactly what the brand typifies. True perfection and just the right balance on the dial with respect to information. I'm not sure one can do better if you had to design a fantasy watch from the ground up.
