I'm a bit late to the discussion, but yellow with the sunburst dial can't be beat. It's a beautiful watch.

Interesting choice. I have owned a 618 for a year now and I wear it daily. It is fantastically comfortable and the dial is, as others have said, a delight. I keep on looking at the WG and a swap is not necessarily out of the question, though the WG is slightly more expensive. I love the flat dial as I had one on a TT and it just sort of worked really well but in its own way. I just like that flat blue. To be fair, they are both sensational.

Mile, I think you and I are among the few people who didn’t miss the point of the original post in this thread .....

><><><> Update <><><><

Where do I start...

I choose the WG SUB, but the seller was unable to Acquire it from the Owner.

The seller wanted to trade my previous 116509 WG DAytona for the WG Sub, and I was waiting for the Seller to make contact with the WG Sub Owner...(I had already sent my 116509 back to seller to repair hands, but many of the guys here said the V-Serial should have Superluminova instead of the Chromalight, and the Dial was entirely Chromalight, made me worried that seller said his watch maker of 35 years did better job than RSC...)

I had check in-hand, and after 3 text/calls, throughout the day, and after seller told me it was Random, (it was actually a G-serial.) I decided I was thru with waiting, and got fed up with the whole thing, and wanted my 116610LN Back. (Guy's we are truly spoiled with our trusted sellers...We should thank them everyday for their customer service...!)

The seller did take the 116509 back after the 7 day retun policy, (partly due to the mis-matched hands Superluminova& Chromalight) and gave me my 116610LN back...

Yes it cost me $2000 but I did not complain. (I could have complained) because:

* I had a Rolex with Mix-matched hands.
* The seller did not disclose on the website that the watch was missing a link, and did not have period correct lume...(I am after all LuminousMaximus...!)
* That the dial, was supposed to be superluminova, and was chromalight.
* The Website said it was in "Pristine condition"
* the Website has Boiler plate descriptions for the same watch. (we need detailed descriptions for each individual watch and it's exact condition...)
* I was willing to trade up and with check in hand, seller could not come thru
* Then I was made to feel like I was the PIA that kept calling/ texting to make a deal on another Rolex.
* Seller and I made an agreement to return 116610LN on Friday morning and I would accept $2k less than I paid and return Franken-Tona. My wife texted seller and complained about the $2k.
* Seller came back with 2 offers that had Luminousmaximus keeping the Franken-Tona, that were never discussed!
* Luminousmaximus told Seller we had a deal and that the one we were sticking to.
* NO Response for that Friday, or the Weekend... My wire $$$ was being held hostage as punishment.
* Seller finally relented but not until he complained about his expenses, and can not wait till " This Deal is finally over...!"

* oh, and he sent my 11661 to me with 1 brand new SS link Short, so I contacted him and he said he would send it...Waiting...

The seller did Return my Brand New 116610LN Purchased here from David SW outside the 7 day return policy, SO, I am grateful, but not the way I was treated, and how he made me feel...

Think again. He already had 21 infraction points (compared to your 18).

Holy crap! That sounds like about as much shenanigans as a seller can employ without actually absconding with your funds.

Sorry to hear of your ordeal. I would never do business with a company like that, especially if they misrepresent their watches and have dishonest business practices. Stick with the big sellers here on TRF.
