Hey your not dumb, you a bought the watch you wanted without the wait. There is a price for convenience, and if you can afford it go for it! Don't listen to those who can't afford the premium and cry and whine... As they say if you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch.

I’m thinking more like pulled their for sale listings to see how this plays out before reposting. Just because it says sold doesn’t mean it actually sold. Who knows though.

Well I’m not ashamed to say I’ve paid well over list for my Ceramic Daytona. I wanted it and did not want to wait and there was no way I was going to get one in a reasonable time frame from an AD. You’re a long time dead and having the watch now and enjoying it meant more to me than waiting for a phone call 3-4 years from now to save money.
Having said that I got my new Explorer from an AD and waited a month. No way was I going to pay even slightly over MSRP on that one.

Classic example of hype and dump. When the new BLNR with the 3285 comes out, you don’t want to be the guy who overpaid on the current ref.

I bought my watches to wear them... Too many flippers? Maybe, but I do support Free Enterprise. So, What To Do?

I'm just glad I got my 5 Digit GMT Before.....

Pulling the watches off the shelf at this very moment is risky. Imagine a grand opportunity to clean them out in one sweep—great selling opportunity.

Now what happens if news comes out announcing the new 126710 BLNR ?

I doubt David SW pulled the watches. Holding inventory is not the name of the game.

It wouldn’t matter much since “126710” wouldn’t be readily available.

If it is confirmed the BLNR is indeed discontinued, it could pave the way for the 'Coke' reference.

just checked out several local grey dealer stores, most of them have taken the blnr out from the display case. I can only see one but with the price tag removed. I asked the salesman and the price is 103000hkd, which is about 6000 more than a few weeks ago. looks like the discontinuation rumour is true or at least the grey dealers buy the story.

They pop in every couple of days. Maybe in that particular nanosecond there aren't any available, but if one has the patience that God gave a goldfish, another will pop up soon.

^^That is for sure. The new movement is excellent. If I was going to overpay for a new Rolex now, it better have the new movement in it.

Bingo! Surely at some point we will once again stop looking at watches as cash cows and just as something we enjoy.......

If I was sitting on a few I think I'd pull back for a few days to see how this plays out. If they are suddenly bringing even stupider prices next week why miss out? They aren't going to go down any time soon even if not discontinued.
