Imagine turning it down, waiting another 2 years only to find that watch has the same bezel as the first one you turned down 2 years ago...

If it was that hard, I would either skip it or go to DavidSw and examine the watches in person. Of course I would turn it down if the colors were not what I was expecting. If I was paying what that watch costs, would I accept something sub optimal? I can't imagine doing that. Snapping the watch up, just because it happens to be some model reference regardless of other factors is hardly a good way to go about things. You will not be happy with the watch and you may find it hard to sell because the market finds other variants more attractive.

Note that according to some posters the MK1 is already surpassing others in terms of value. Picking the right color could earn you thousands of $ some time in the future.

Looking at Chrono 24 there are a few MK I for sale at around a 10k premium.

HQ Milton advertised a MK I for sale recently, dubbed the “magneto”

You wanna talk about obsession? You think your watch is a unicorn. I truly can’t tell if your posts are trolling or not at this point.

This is terribly stupid. Everyone who is arguing that there is not a color difference hasn't seen two of these watches in person. Almost every Pepsi bezel comes out looking different from the next. Go find a secondhand dealer who has multiple and take a look at the difference in each color.

I'm 100% sure that is an MK-STUNNING!!! It looks great in any light, but more vibrant in some.. Love it!

No MK anything. They’re all uniquely different if you start comparing each bezel side by side. Especially where the colors mix!

Pretty bizarre statement. Really not my experience at all. I suppose anyone can say anything in an Internet forum though

Yes, we know that you own one.

Yes, and there is also a MK III being advertised for $28,545. So prices are clearly meaningless.

Seems unlikey that people would pay extra for colours that were universally panned when the watch first came out but then this is a weird hobby

That seems to make you

No, your conclusion does not follow your premise

A few internet cranks who never saw the watch in person and couldn’t get one from an AD doesn’t meet the definition of “universally panned”
My Pepsi is absolutely gorgeous, stunningly so

It is weird hobby though
