Considering the new Blue/Black GMT has been called Batgirl, let's just hope they don't call a Blue SS Sub Smurfette!

Out of the blue...

Looks like a blue bezel, no date sub to me. SA knows more than you all give her credit for.

What's with the manchild nicknames? How old is your average Rolex collector, really? It's a bit embarrasing to listen to full grown men talking like that to be honest.

It’s also a bit embarrassing when other grown men won’t let others have a little fun.

Go be a grump somewhere else, we are trying to have a community here.

In all fairness the Superman reference was a nod to a post the other day in which someone pointed out that Superman hadn’t been used yet and was an obvious omission.

I’m 50/50 on cute names. Pepsi, Bluesy, Smurf, Kermit and Hulk all seem fine to me. The only one I don’t particularly like is Batgirl.

They serve a purpose, shows affection and Hulk rolls of the tongue easier than 116610LV when you’re having a general conversation. It’s not like they’re being renamed. You can still use whichever you prefer and switch given the context.
