I tend to like blue dials more than green, but in this case i really find the green very beautiful

Not at all. It feels like PP is fad chasing instead of setting the market. To me anyway. I'd rather have the Moser Streamliner in fume green. More original.

Agree. Moser’s CEO was just interviewed and it looks like they are discontinuing the green Pioneer to protect its exclusivity. He even snickered at the new RO green dial.

I couldn’t believe Patek put a green dial on a 5711. It cheapens its legacy. I’m not saying it’s parachute pants, but I wish they hadn’t done it.

5711a in green might even be more speculative than the other one as it will only be produced for 1 year, my AD told me they will only get 1, probably a 1000 pieces production or so

As always PP is better at playing the game than everybody else in the industry. My retiring the blue 5711 they stabilize the prices and guarantee the current owners to be happy with the fact their watch increased in value and will most likely stay there. Remember - Patek is probably the largest brand being considered from a watch investment perspective.

By making the green variant for one year only they guarantee the same thing. I would be very surprised if the green would not trade significantly above the blue 5711 just due to rarity.
