I got mine in Jan 2020. I've been wearing it everyday since then...

something collected especially : an accumulation of objects gathered for study, comparison, or exhibition or as a hobby
Notice the "s" on the end of objects. One watch is a not a collection.

However to answer your question, if I had to go down to one only it would most likely be this one:

I’ve had many …some very expensive, some not as much.
I believe at this point in my life, for my taste & style….I’d go with the 126600 or 226570(black dial) ….tough choice, but lean towards the SD.

I agree. My 39mm Explorer is the favorite, but it's hard to imagine being without my other...the Submariner. The higher end watches from Rolex are nice but I don't really lust after a Daytona (maybe a pre ceramic white ...520 at some point) and have no interest in anything with a cyclops

No date sub or black Daytona.

Or Platona non diamond.

Or...a 3 watch collection.

Most versatility for life? No Date Submariner.

Maximizing Rolex joy? Daytona.

I’m fine with a ExpII 16570, Sub No Date 14060, any DJ36 Fluted and Jubilee, or even my OP36 126000.

I’d like to say GMT2 but just don’t feel as safe wearing such “high profile” and expensive watches in certain situations anymore.

I’ve contemplated adding other Rolex watches, and maybe one day I will, but for now I don’t see the need with this one as my daily.

I'm biased, but 116500 or 126719 meteorite would be it

Gotta be my Air King.

My CHNR is just next level of amazing. It's exquisite, elegant, versatile, has useful complications.......but if I had to pick only one, it would be the fun, quirky and understated Air King that promises never a dull moment!

Any variant GMT-Master II. It's the most versatile all-around Rolex model with the dual time zone function, a date window, and 100 meter water resistance.

On some references like the 16710, bezel insert colors and bracelets can be changed in minutes for very different looks.

Anything Rolex makes in steel would work just fine. I chose the 124060.
