I have an SQ5 as well. My beef with it is the fake exhaust tips and exhaust speaker

Only other thing that irritates me, and shouldn't, are the people who leave those yellow plastic splitter guards on their Dodges lol

I just thought of this one hugely annoying peeve….how about the bozos who drive around with their rear fog lights on. These are only to be used in very dense fog for the rear taillights. When the drivers have them on because they think they are cool, they are either confusing the cars following behind that they are braking, or they are so darn bright that they are blinding

I'm in love with my 2020 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T. The best Accord, yet.

There are some quirky safety features, but they can be turned off with the push of a button in most cases.

If I have any particular pet peeve, it's that when the transmission is put in neutral, the parking brake is automatically activated.

It's a minor thing that I've adjusted to, so I'm not really complaining.

I hope that this car outlasts me, because I'm just not impressed with the newer cars coming out, including the new Accords, which is a make and model I've driven for over twenty years.

900 pages of instructions for my wife's new WRX owners manual and audio/navigation system.

I am supposed to have all the answers.

'Can i reduce the noise level of the red light camera warning gong'.

Another one…curious mostly why folks do this. Putting humongous tires & shocks on their pick-ups so the vehicle becomes like 8-9 ft. tall. “Pavement Princesses” they are called. Why?!? At 5’2” they scare the heck out of me; it’d take me right out.

Auto start / stop.
Hill assist.
Digital dashboards and touch screens.
Frantic seat belt chimes.

Right? I have two black cars, and neither one of them are the same shade of black as my Submariner.

I mean, come on!

My new-to-me 2008 Chevrolet is missing all of the tech that I've become accustomed to. No Bluetooth, no reverse camera, no HUD, no steering wheel buttons, no navigation (it's a base model) and I can't unlock it with my phone.

Have to agree on the digital dashboards

I much prefer tactile switches as well.

Practically the same +

Automatic brake assist and warnings, in a city it reacts too often unnecessarily (the brake warning, not the actual brakes)

Lane keeping - again not practical in a small erupoean city where you have bicycles that you have to swerve around only to have the car pull the steering and try to run them over because I forget to indicate )

Small turbo engines, cylinder deactivation...etc.

I drive '18-'23 cars where I work and I get RELAXED when I go home in my 15 year old car with a 6 speed manual that let's ME drive and doesn't beep and warn me all the time!

The ashtray in my pagani is ever so slightly misaligned with the volume knob. When I ash my gurkha it’s not a smooth transition to adjust the volume in one fell swoop. Very annoying! I find myself often losing a tenth of a second when red light racing mustangs while smoking and jamming because of this.

Soooo very much agree with this ^^^

At least when tracking the vintage Ferrari... great cigar ashtray, yet poorly positioned. Such a shame as the gated shifter and clutch feel, with direct steering and brakes, make for an exciting driving experience.

On the SQ5, when you reverse, even a fly (or a car half a kilometre away) will trigger the anti-collision system and a cataclysmic emergency braking. It feels like a ton of bricks has hit your car and it takes you about 5 minutes to recover. No way to disengage it. When I reverse, I go about 1 metre per minute to try and avoid it.

My BMW which had an MSRP of $111,000 doesn’t have automatic trunk closing but my girlfriend’s $70k Audi Q5 has not only automatic trunk closing but also a foot-activated trunk opener.

The foot-activated boot opener is a bit of a joke. Works perhaps 5% of the time. And one usually ends up on one’s back trying so hard on one leg.

Pretty soon you won't have to go and get a drivers license.

You'll have to take your car in instead and it will have to take the drivers test while you sit and anxiously await in the waiting room at the DMV.

My Q7 center console has zero storage. Instead it was replaced with a useless wireless phone charger that fits only smaller phones and charges at a glacier pace. What’s worse is it has two usb ports; so you give up storage for a useless wireless pad you don’t need. It’s the worst center console of any car I have owned.

It’s also has a center screen that pops out of the dashboard that you can’t lower if you don’t want it up. You can turn it off but not lower it.

Yep, it got smaller and smaller by the time.

As far as I know, this charger was optional, as fe. I do not have this. But you are right, it is more then useless, so I do not miss it at all.

I'm not sure about this! If I'm right, then you have the non-FL Q7/4M. If I'm right, then you can raise or lower the center screen any time you want with the pressing of the very last button on the center dash switch button panel.

This is so true that I forgot I have one myself. The trunk door is so easy to open with the keyfob or close it with the button on the driver's side that I have no reason to delight the audience by imitating Bruce Willis' Jig on the roof

Front grills on electric cars.
The backup camera safety feature on my Nissan Versa that beeps and then jams the brakes on when you get in the yellow section of the backup lines. You can’t permanently turn this annoying feature off so if you are parallel parking in a small spot, every time you shift to reverse you have to remember to disable it.
