Who created time zones?
"Scottish-born Canadian Sir Sandford Fleming proposed a worldwide system of time zones in 1879. He advocated his system at several international conferences, and is thus credited with the instigation of "the initial effort that led to the adoption of the present time meridians."

Great shots, Sam! Question, was the RG bracelet added to the 305or? I thought it only came on leather... Either way, that is beautiful!

Audemars Piguet hosted an evening with Mr. Giulio Papi, Director of Audemars Piguet Renaud & Papi (APRP) on 18th Oct'16 in Singapore and it was held at AP boutique @ Liat Tower on Orchard Road. It's the first time AP held an private dining event in the newly refurbished boutique which cerebrated its reopening on 26th Apr'16 with an exclusive cocktail party. The night begins with the opening and welcoming of guests by Mr. Antonio Seward, Audemars Piguet General Manager of Southeast Asia.

During the dinner, Mr Papi showed several complicated models which developed by APRP, who is also responsible for the development and production of the most elaborate concepts such as minute repeater mechansim, tourbillons, chronographs tourbillons, transparent movement structures. At the end of the dinner, guests enjoyed a hands-on experience on some of the unique complicated timepieces and there were also a few vintages specially flown in from Le Brassus for the occasion.

Once again, Thank You Audemars Piguet for the invitation and the hospitality!!

Yes Paul! Mr. Papi is a great person to chat with and a humble person who is willing to share with you anything about his complication movements! Great evening and honour to meet him!

It's a vintage lady AP minute repeater, not sure on the model because I didn't take notice of this watch until I listened to the chime struck, I was stunned! Such a small and thin watch with a chiming mechanism in it! Amazing!

Thanks for the info.

How the hell do they squeeze in a repeater in that thin case?

Is that an AP snow globe? That's awesome.

I'm assuming the candle is the same one they have at the boutiques (great smell, but can't recall if it had a name).

Good start to the holidays!
