Whatever I wear always miraculously appears on my nightstand the next morning, including my socks.

Japan is the land of really it being very socially acceptable to be hammered on a nightly basis. A hard drinker is almost considered a virtue or strength here. There is no AA. No interventions.

Anyway it is a country where you could fall down pass out drunk and it is highly likely that you will retain your Rolex.

Like most well adjusted adults who like to have a good time, I don't ever plan on getting drunk when I go out.
99% of the time it's just mild drinking, or none at all, once in a while things get a bit out of control, more drinking than I should, so I have my watch with me then anyway.

As Joe Walsh (now sober) said, "I only got drunk once; it lasted for twenty years."

Can we just start a "Is it safe" section so we can keep these types of threads out of our General Discussion? Would love to see this section reserved for actual questions and incomings!

If I know I'll be getting that plastered which I haven't done in years then I would leave my rolex home. I have a few tags I could wear for the evening.

Sounds like its time to get a drinking rolex. I wear what I wear and. I get drunk if I get drunk. I do try to maintain a level of control so I don't regret it in the AM.

Drank twice with it.
Never got drunk out of my mind, but pretty okay.
But Idont know how I feel about it, saved enough cash to buy one (Im 22) and it would suck to loose it while drunk or damage it.
And I am an "irresponsible teen" who sometimes drink quite much. I think my beater Seiko will be taken out in the future.
Dont want to risk my baby because I know that pretty much anyone can floor me in one punch and take it.

That would be fantastic. Add the rumors and it would be a great dumping ground out of sight!

Thanks for the answers in advance
I'm more concerned about shopping for a Rolex when I'm drunk.

I drink and wear my subC while doing it. The thought of waking up a rolex watch short have crossed my mind on occasion but apparently I don't care. It's my daily wear watch so if unplanned drinking events come up its kinda too late to leave it at home and at that time it feels safer to have it on my arm.

A) if you're getting drunk by yourself, that's sad. B) if you're getting drunk with mates and still loose your stuff, you need new mates.

When drinking, I try to stay responsible enough to take care of my stuff and others. My watches have seen some heavy drinking but I'm always conscious of my belongings. Wallet, keys, watches, etc....

After all, what's better than looking down at your Daytona in Vegas at the craps table and seeing that's its 4:00am and you have been up for over 24hrs and need to go to bed!
