Thanks. Now I’ve got to work out how to use them.

I’ll have a bit of a rest. There are some vintage pieces I’ve seen on my travels but I am way out of my depth here - knowledge wise. Even with a trusted seller.

Thank you. I’ve written the story up properly now. 2/3 the way there. I’ll post that when I’m done.

So I bought five Rolex SS models after a day of start stop start negotiation

Congratulations on an epic purchase. Couldn’t help but thinking of this.....

All in good fun.

Hahaha. Makes me think of Fast & Furious 6 where Trej has the uppity car auctioneer hand over his shirt, pants and watch, too. Nice.

Cheers

One day I’ll tell you about my negotiation tactic called “the fresh cut flower move”. It’s in the longer write up to come. How the dealer behaves dictates how this runs.

I bought the new Pepsi , White dial Daytona and the Bi Metal CHNR last year from my AD all in one purchase , I found the experience a little bit too much to be honest .
I've now asked that he drip feeds me the new models so I have a bit of one on one time with them

I am happy for anyone who gets the watch(es) they want. Wear them in good health.. Now here is the but-

But I don't get the logic behind tooting your own horn on your negotiation tactics or the "great deal" you received.

Um... You just bought a bunch of watches from a grey which means you paid more than MSRP for them because you aren't able to buy these watches from Rolex at or under MSRP...

That's basically anyone here.

Still happy for you.

When I was selling all of my vintage pieces, I had someone try this "negotiation" tactic on me. Give me a stupid low offer for about 5 of my watches and gives me two minutes to agree to it.

I promptly told him to f*** off.
