Yeah, it's in Eltham, so we got the place we wanted in the neighbourhood that we wanted, and pretty much for a price that we wanted. We're settling on 3 July, so the housewarming shouldn't be too long after that - I'll keep you posted.

Oscar isn't scared of cats, is he?
No way. My bloke is not afraid of cats, but he might lay a barkers egg on your back paving. The house looks bloody great too.......... Well done home owner.........

Many well wishes on your first home James and a lovely one at that. I remember sitting at my closing on my first home and thinking "What the F@*K did I just do?" Even when you are cussing about all the fun stuff you will eventually get to do like replace the roof, windows, hot water heater etc..Nothing quite like the feeling of owning your own home.

Many happy blessings there to both of you!

Wow congrats. Looks really lovely.

What part of Melbourne is the house in?

We lived in Mont Albert Road, Canterbury for 5 years before moving to Sydney, then on to Japan.

Thanks, guys!

Yeah David, eventually I'll have to do all of that, but the difference is that I know I'm doping it for my own place, not someone else's.

Imtiaz, it's up in Eltham. Mont Albert Road, huh? My wife loves driving down that stretch - it's eaasily one of the prettiest streets in Victoria.
