I LOVE being obsessed in checking my watch every few hours. I’m amazed that out of the 86,400 seconds a day, it’s accurate to less than a second off. Obsession is cool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I agree. Some people love to remind us over and over again that a day has 86400 seconds a day and that we shouldn’t worried about it being a few seconds off, even though it’s advertised by Rolex to be at a certain accuracy. We love mechanical things and being amazed at a watch’s ability to keep precise timing is one of the many reasons why we love Rolex. It’s like when a car enthusiast marvels at the amazing aspects of a car’s performance. We don’t need to be constantly reminded that a day has 86400 seconds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm happy for you being happy with your watch. Your thoughts about it's accuracy are just a little askew. What would happen if you wear it 24/7 and not place it in a special position to regain what it's lost? That would reflect it's true accuracy.

Accuracy improving
Ny brand new Datejust 41 was slow 4 seconds a day on average the first week. the second week it is averaging just over 1 second a day slow. Is this typical? Even though new and previously unworn, the watch was made in Dec 2022. So it had been idle for slightly over a year. I manually wound it every other day in addition to wearing it 12 hours a day. RETIRED, SEDENTARY USE.
