Deepsea wins everytime. Own a DSSD and a 16610 and prefer the deepsea massively over the sub. It is a big watch but if you've big chunky arms/wrists like me it suits.

Sub because of cost, resale, manageable size & weight.
I like the DSSD, but its a niche watch and massive. |

Thank you Sir. A couple that came out nice as well...such a photogenic watch!
It is not a piece for everybody, I agree. It is not so much size (large but definitely not massive) but style. It suits me to a tee, but I am very informal.

Sub all the way
Tried on both. Took pics of Deep Sea so I could look and think. My decision will be the Sub. Just waiting on one of my others to sell then I am pulling the trigger!!! Hopefully by the end of September. A D holding my SubC with date right now. Deep Sea was pimp but just didnt feel right.

Also theres something about Deep Sea not having a cyclops that just didnt sit right with me. However both are amazing watches and this is just my opinion.

I love them both but the sub is more of a daily wear watch. For the last three days having baby at the hospital my sub stayed on day and night. I have large watches but you just can't do that with them.

Submariner for me. No preference between the Date or ND. They're both gorgeous. If I wasn't so obsessed with having the date window, the ND SubC would be my #1 choice....Still debating...Occassionally I think the date window just crowds the dial a tad too much...jmo

if you have a big wrist .. deepsea. Looks away better. But small wrist Sub C. Once you get used to bigger watch, you might want to sell all your smaller watch collection :(

Dssd is monster thick, so ceramic sub is ideal for me, then Dssd, then old sub.
