Nothing for me. If they had not upsized the AN case, I would have considered it. Not saying it was a bad Basel, just nothing for me.

The live pics of the 5960-01g with blue dial look much better than the stock photos from Patek.

Seem like quite a few of 5131P requests--should be interesting to see how it shakes out.

Nice selections gents.

Don't forget the urban legend of only being able to make 1 dial a week!! So I am guessing more bucks in the P so they will concentrate on this or as I always said they can make far more dials than that but just prefer to contain or restrict assembly??

My AD told me Patek had already made the dials for the 5131P and it would be sent out sooner than normal.

Congrats,i love it, just not really the extra price attached to the gold, say that and I got the R myself so not sure. But looks great in blue, if they had done in SS they would have killed sales for the SS grey dial

Since there is so much snow on these, the two little old ladies were working overtime to complete the dials.

In the U.K. Yes and directly through the UK distributor. In the USA no idea but sure it will be like 40th. Given to the AD to distribute to whichever client / Grey they prefer.

When are your Basel trip pieces arriving now (think 5711 and Daytona--but I could be wrong)?

Looking forward to seeing the collection

I dont think your health can handle another incoming....collect the 5711 and Daytona C when you get the Vouti next month and rest for a year....that will give me enough time to get one of those little tracking devices over to you.....I thought maybe you had been taken out by the Ukranian Mafia ......lastly you can never have too much blue in a collection!!

I am going with the PP 5159R this year. Not a Basel piece but a classic that I have admired for many years.

The 5320g is a stunning perpetual calender imo, I like the legibility with the luminous arab numbers and hands a lot. For me the highlight of this years PP Baselworld together with the 5131P.

I was reading something around $82,800 on Hodinkee...since I am based in Switzerland the official retail here is CHF 73k

Well it's not when are they arriving, they are here, I just need to get to where "here" is, resting at my cousins' in Paris, but hopefully will go to Zurich this weekend, for now even walking 15 minutes at a slow pace is not so easy. No you are right on the pieces. I guess you are right, getting these two, the Vouti in May, and we will wait for some time after that, enjoy the collection, and add something if I really love it, but I do love the 2 WG blue Aquas, can't wait to see your's

Yeah many ukrainian mafiosi want to take me out nah I am not really in competition with them on anything, so no real threats for me

Yeah you are right there can never be too much blue in a collection, will wait a little and will see next year, still have the 2 to get from Zurich, and the Vouti in May.
