Epilogue - after 9 months of owning my Rolex deep sea watch I bid adieu to it. After my father passed away in his sleep from cancer 4 months ago my Rolex didn't sing to me anymore. I lost all interest in it. I came to the conclusion that family means more to me than any overpriced watch. The deepsea was the nicest looking Rolex of the bunch, it is time to say goodbye to Rolex forever.

Sorry to hear about your dad Ron .

Glad you got rid of your DSSD...you hated that thing anyways, I'm sure whom ever you sold that watch to will give it the love it deserve, it's an awesome watch, over priced or not.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Never say never, maybe you'll decide to get another Rolex one day . . .
