That sucks. Sorry to hear. Tennis gave me a back pain that will follow me for the rest of my life and nowadays I need to go easy with it.

About 49 riders qualified - about 40 finished....excellent results. On the previous 1200-km event, only 12 of us, out of 25, finished that one. The weather was tough.

I'll be crewing on RAAM this year and will certainly wear this:

I can't think of a better watch to wear when supporting my rider who will attempt the US at 20 mph. Think of it as 300 miles a day for 10 days in a row!

Hey Ken, my hometown is Rio de Janeiro and brazilian jiu-jitsu was my sport for almost 10 years when I lived there. But we just called it jiu-jitsu.

That's amazing man. I never had a chance of training with the top guys from the family. My training was on a small academy near my parents house and the owner was a former student of Carlson Gracie. When I moved from my parents house Tennis just called me and I never looked back. What a great experience and privilege you had - and still have. Really amazing. Congrats.

I love playing basketball. Harder to find time since I moved to Boston but still play when I can. I play a lot while in China on business. Only picture of me playing is this one a co-worker sent me of the hunter fan co. Team playing one of our supplier's team. I had dislocated my left ring finger in the tip off and didn't realize it till they almost had to cut my wedding ring off after the game due to the swelling. We got back to the hotel and the hotel doctor first popped it back in then submerged it in ice water before then slathering it with grease to remove it. When the ligaments finally healed 2 months later my ring size had increased by 1.5 and I still had to get a new ring.

Here are my rolex
