He is friends with a guy at Joe Gibbs Performance who sent us his blower pkg for a SS pkup. I don't know how he talked me into it but we went a little nuts with this project. New computer, new exhaust, ported heads, blower etc. Stupidest thing in the world but fun as hell and I love the expression on peoples faces when I pull away at a stoplight, they are driving (name your performance car) and stoplight to stoplight it is just plain WRONG! They just can't fathom a stock looking Suburban being so fast. Dyno'd at 550 HP at the rear wheels. She'll do a wicked burn out.

Strait line fun as you said. Not made for the twisties nor is my TA. I would take the Cadillac CTS-V or the BMW M3 if you want to have at it on a road coarse. My Bro-in-law loves his new Audi S5. He said it handles unbelievable. I will get a chance to drive it an a month or so when I visit.

So, I win the 0-60, you win on the twistie roads, how about for the tie breaker we see who can pull a 40' 15,000 lbs. Formula boat up a hill!

LOL!! I knew it had to be something like that,

Not fitting in around here.

My daily driver. 1997 GMC 4x4

I can't imagine life without a pickup truck. They're so usefull.

My 1946 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup streetrod project.

I inherited this one. 1967 Chevelle Malibu 30,000 original miles

4 door hardtop - only 2650 of this model made.

My wife drives a '99 Pontiac Grand Am that we bought from her mom before she passed away. My wife has a real sentimental attachment to it.

I had the exact same car, in silver.

While lacking a bit in power, it sure was a fun ride.

No doubt. In town I'm getting 11 MPG and on the highway a little better than 13. The best part, can't run anything less than premium 92 octane!

I know, I'm a .

For what I sunk in my motor alone I could have had my SS Daytona!

I've had both the Porsche Roadster and the
Tin Top.
Roadsters crab a bit.
I would still choose a Roadster any day.
Sheer fun.

Like some of the others it's not the fastest in a straight line or on the track, but I'll take my chances on a mountain road
