You will have to scald yourself pretty bad before you get the water hot enough to do any damage to your watch.

The reason for the shower is shampoo is formulated to remove exactly the kind of gunk that you want to clean out of your bracelet to avoid "stretch" (really wear).

Conditioner is optional...

During regular work days I wear mine after I shower and get ready to leave. I take it off before going to bed. I don't wear when i play tennis, doing manual labor around the house, or during sex.

When I leave the house.. always. Around the house.. it varies. Sleep/Shower the watches come off. If I'm doing something that would really mess a watch up, it will come off.
