I don't really beat on any of my watches but my go to for sports, chores around the house, playing with the kids or dogs, and general weekend activities would be this one. Even been diving in the carribean and hiking on glaciers in Alaska.

Well... I don't like the term "beater" at all.
Why?
Well, because I respect every watch that I own and I frequently rotate, so...

But, closest to a "beater" would be my Hamilton Khaki X-Wind Chronograph (yeah, Independence Day II and such BS) , and not just because it looks tough (and maybe obnoxious at the same time), but because I like it so much that I wear it most of the time!

Jokes aside, watches are meant to be worn (and thus beaten) so - enjoy ANY watch you have and just be relaxed about it!

I wear a 39mm explorer as a daily, and it usually goes where I go. When I'm not wearing that it's usually my casio protrek or seiko sumo. The protrek is one of the most comfy digital watches I've had and it's quite hardy, as the explorer is of course

TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 5. Only time I take it off is when washing my car (so I don't scratch the car).

I don't actually own a Rolex yet.

Do not really beat my watches, but also do not baby them.

114060 is good for about anything. 16570 is also great for activities.

I really don't have a specific beater or set of beaters.

I tend to pamper my 'lesser' watches more than my Rolex or Tudor watches, though, so they could be considered beaters.

There are those times, however, when I do want to wear an inexpensive, no-frills watch and in those cases, my Seiko 5 often gets the nod.

I don't have a beater per se, but my daily watches are the 116610LN and 116520-White. I feel they're a pretty great combo for daily wear watches. I may add a LV for weekends and when I want color in my regular rotation though.

My PM piece (AL&S) stays away for special occasions as do my few older Subs and Daytonas. I find the Glidelock too good to go without on a daily.

For something that I don't care about regarding banging, scrapes, scuffs etc. I just wear a G Shock. I usually know ahead of time when there's a likelihood of beating up my watch, it's easier and less stressful to just wear the G Shock for those occasions.

Any watch I own is a beater. Life is too short to live any other way.

Ceramic Sub on Everest strap and clasp. Truly is a beater, beach goer, diving, during lawn work, bicycling, the pool... Has been far and away better than the Patek Aqua that came before it. The Rolex Sub still looks great and is -7 seconds each month. Best... daily... beater... ever! :)

After posting on whether i should bring my "higher end" watches with me on vacation I decided to order a SKX009K2 to put my mind at ease. I figured since I have a 16610 sub and a speedy it would be good to get some color in the mix.

Hope it is durable (read some threads that it runs very fast for some) and the jubilee bracelet (which im not crazy about) is comfortable.

This, exactly. I rotate my watches monthly, so whatever I have on at that particular time is my daily beater.

Like a few others here, I don't like the term "beater." In part this is because one of my daily wearers is a Speedy and the term "Speedy beater" seems unfortunate.
