All my other watches are subtle. I want a more stunning looking watch, that's why I chose blue.

Blue! From personal experience I have owned a blue one, let a blue one go. It is the only Rolex I have let go that I truly want another....maybe one day!

I like black. I wore a TT black sub for 10 years and traded for a TT GMTc. I love my GMT and still miss my TT sub even though the two are very similar.

+1 for Black. I have owned a TT black sub for many years. This was my first watch purchase and I still love it. Of course, this is a personal choice, but I find the black dial is timeless and elegant.

They're both amazing and if I could have both the blue one would be the first purchase.

Why not get the white gold sub. More discrete and you get the bluesy-like dial.

Curios what you'll think of that...
I would always take a Rolex Sub over any amount of Tudors be it 2 or 20.

Hi Pascal

You've made a great choice. Congratutlations and welcome to the club.

By "just" in my earlier post I meant that it is more similar to the all steel submariner than the blue and therefore more under the radar. Which I believe is a good thing.

I placed "just" in inverted commas to signify that there was no negativity in the relationship, and that the all steel sub is itself a fantastic piece.

Well, here's the conclusion.

11 reason why I go TT Sub LN as THE daily and lifetime wearer:

1. It's a Rolex
2. It's craftsmanship
3. It's history
4. It's an impeccable design
5. it's in my budget
6. TT to match my yg set
7. It fits my personality
8. It's solidness
9. It's versibility
10. It's discretion
11. It's class

Gentlemen.

Probably, however everyone I personally know who own an LB happens to be a car salesman

And in the UK that stereotype very much exists, rightly or wrongly.
