X2 my sentiments exactly. you have made your opinion clear that you don't like tattoos or body mods and nobody judged you for your opinions but why keep reading/following and commenting on something you don't like or interests you if not for provocation?

Thanks Rick.
His name is Jordan - owner of Mom's Tattoos in Dunedin, FL. He's done all of my work and everything is custom. Not only a great artist but great guy.

Thanks for sharing Travis. I found him on line and had a look at some of his other work. This guy has some serious chops. His work looks so vivid. Almost 3 dimensional. Great use of background shading and colors. His lines look very tight. When in Florida I'm usually on the other coast but may have to make a specific trip.

So hard to say. It’s been over so many years. Each tattoo represents a piece of the chonocological map of my life. So much of my arms was done in pieces. Truly, the left arm is a testament to the art. That’s three different artists. From completely basic stencil early on, to extremely complicated artwork more recently. The more I think about it, the cooler it all is.

If I am guessing, I’d say anywhere from 35 to 40 hours. Maybe even as much as 50.

My grandfather (1885-1961) was in the Royal Navy from 1902 to 1920 and had quite a few tattoos - all of them "earned" for time served, lines crossed, places seen, etc. Sadly he died before I was born. I have a dragon on my shoulder that I got done in Hong Kong in 1989. I've never come across words that are so profound or inspiring that I would want to see them on my skin every day for the rest of my life.

Don't have too many good pictures of my sleeve. Was done by a family my wife and I became friends with while spending time in the south Pacific, middle of nowhere. Every square inch has a meaning and I love explaining it. Wraps around and if we ever go back I either want to do calf/shin or have it extend over my right chest

1st day before we wrapped it around

I think it took about 14 hours total for the whole sleeve

Thank you! It was all free-hand, too. He drew directly on my skin without using any stencil or pen

Mathias, Love this one. It looks to have very traditional roots in design and meaning. Can you give us a basic overview of its meaning or theme as a whole piece?

I came for the Rolex prison tattoos but none to be found here, I guess. I thought post# 52 was pretty creative.
