Contador is a bit of a cold character....or just doesn't have much of a personality (not that he should)...but I guess not speaking English doesn't help.
Seems like he is in a class of his own in the mountains, seems like it's all over and good-night nurse now for the general classification. Pretty tough call on Cavendish in the sprint the other day....... may be the French commissionaires don't like the brash Englishman. Cavendish will find it almost impossible now to get the Green Jersey (which I think as the best sprinter he deserves to wear).

Don't miss Stage 16 tonight/today in a few hours time.
It is an absolute killer of a mountain stage, surely to be very interesting.

Contador has got it sewn up. Armstrong admits that he hasn't got the strength and pace to match the bursts on the climb. The time trial is where Lance would come to the fore but I think Contador will move on and open the gap by then. I agree he's cold but his recent statements about the team support show that he is carrying a bit of a chip on his shoulder. He'll be out of Astana as soon as he can.
Cav was hard done by but his comments afterwards have been a bit sour...shame he just couldn't get on with it. I'd be surprised if he finishes now...with no chance of the green I think he'll just give up. Spesh after these circumstances. Biggest surprise has been The Wiggler! Wiggins has done himself proud and is taking it day by day. J |

The stage today was great! I cannot believe how quickly Lance just climbed the mountain to catch the others WOW!
Tomorrow's stage should be fantastic! I cannot wait!! Most likely we will know who will win the yellow jersey by end of tomorrow. Allan |

Incredible stage today. Lance rode like a model teammate, and the Schleck brothers were extraordinary. Lance should take back plenty of time from them in the TT.
Mount Ventoux on Saturday will be the biggie!

Lance aint gonna win. Contador isn't going to help him on Mt Ventoux...all our reports seem to indicate that there is little love for Lance from the Spaniard.
Schleck looks to be a good second for the last few days and in fairness Armstrong finishing in the top 5 is a great achievement for somebody who has been out of the game for so long. Nice to see Wiggins finish in the top 10...hopefully he'll hang on in there. If Sky do build a team around him next year, in the next couple of years he could be a contender for the podium. Been a great tour...Yesterday's ride by Contador was just amazing. J |

Hats off to Wiggins and Andy Schleck. Great TT's from both. I agree, Jim. If Lance gets on the podium or top 5 that could be considered amazing achievement. Alberto is the best TDF rider this year and possibly the best Grand Tour rider for years to come.
