Boutique in Houston told me (i'm not in the market for either - so no reason to lie to me - but who really knows) they get about 10-15 (about one a month or so) of the BLRO and about 4x that many of the BLNR - so about 40-50 of those.

There is definitely something about the BLRO bezel; has anyone else noticed the BLNR, VTNR, the new GRNR and the old (116710) LN all share the same machined bezel but the BLRO has its own specific bezel with a thicker rim.. perhaps to protect it more because it’s fragile.

I’ve seen multiple “exhibition” models…. They have them. Don’t believe the hype

My AD has a Pepsi and Panda among many others in the display. Lee Michaels in Metairie in the New Orleans area. Doesnt not mean anything. I was told to spend some money on jewelry to unlock them. I said no thank you.

Were they specific on how much they’d expect you to spend on jewelry? If not, what would be your guess? Tying/bundling is terrible practice.

The pepsi.insert is pressed into a hytrel gasket in the bezel. Thats why its thicker. All other inserts are friction fitted. The pepsi is more brittle that's why.

All the ceramic bezels that spin have a plastic hytrel ring gasket..

That's interesting, because back in 2017 I bought a BLNR from Jose, the manager at that same store. A year later, when the Pepsi came out I inquired about buying one (and even volunteered to pay upfront) but he declined claiming he'd let me know as soon as one came in. I stayed after him for a couple years but one never materialized. However, never at any point did he, or any one else there, suggest that the BLRO was contingent upon other purchases.

The pepsi bezel has 2. Read again and maybe you'll understand what I wrote

I’m interested in learning more about this.

Can either of you show a picture that sort of shows the difference between a BLRO and say a BLNR fitment/thickness?

Thank you

My understanding (from TRF) is that the BLRO insert is also pressed in with a unique tool.

So is the blro rarer than the panda nowadays? I’m still weighing in on whether to trade the former for the latter.

When I spoke to my AD a couple weeks ago about the BLRO I've been waiting for, I asked if it would be easier to get a black Daytona these days. He said they're both about the same right now. For whatever that's worth. I'd assume the Panda is still a little more difficult.

I'd take the Pepsi in a heartbeat, since I already have a white Daytona. If I didn't already have a Daytona it would be a difficult decision.

Glad I’m not the only one deliberating over this 🤣 I love my Pepsi, but to me the 116 panda has always been the grail.

I’ve been impatiently waiting for a Pepsi on Oyster for nearly a year now. Exceptionally modest spend history, but a good relationship with the manager of the AD. I was told around a year last summer. I’m not holding my breath, but anything is possible….

See the distinct thick metal rim around the bezel insert. It catches the light.

The BLNR/LN/VTNR/GRNR does not have this thick metal edge. I suspect it’s there to prevent the BLRO bezel insert from being interchangeable and perhaps to protect the fragile(?) BLRO insert.

Well I’ll be darned …. I’ve never noticed this before now. Thank you for pointing it out

Perhaps it does have something to do with the bezel make-up

It would be great to see a side by side shot of a BLNR a and a BLRO to show the difference

Not actually, can't know this for all AD's. At least AD's i know receive more BLRO's than a white 126500, but not much more
